At 70 metres high and with 400 steps to the top this crescent-shaped piece of limestone history is a unique spectacle when standing at the bottom and offers views across the Dales when you’re at the top. You may recognise where you’re standing from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. Watch out for the peregrine falcons during the summer months.

A magical waterfall with fairy tales and clear waters that invite you in. Found in a small wood in the middle of the valley, the foss is a tranquil spot to unwind to the sound of flowing water, or go for a dip to feel the real benefits of the pool.

A jewel in the Yorkshire Dales National Park crown, this spectacular sight has inspired famous writers and artists like Wordsworth, Ward and Turner. With limestone cliffs of over 100m high, deep gorges and waterfalls at the heart of the ravine; it certainly is worth a visit.

Embrace the festivities and enjoy a warming mulled wine and sweet mince pie at the base of Malham Cove, all while listening to Skipton Brass Brand. Carols at the Cove usually takes place on the first Saturday of December, 2-3:30pm.
